Global Sevilla School Wins 63 Medals at World Scholar's Cup
Global Sevilla School achievements include 63 medals at the World Scholar's Cup Global Round in Vietnam, against 13,600 students from 44 countries.
As a school with an international-standard education, Global Sevilla School produces high-achieving students, especially in academics. This further confirms that Global Sevilla is one of the best international schools in Indonesia, particularly in Jakarta.
Early in the 2017 school year, Global Sevilla School earned outstanding results at the World Scholar's Cup (WSC) Global Round, held in Vietnam. The school's students won a total of 63 medals.
Dominated by Grade 5 and 6 Students
The students who competed in the WSC in Vietnam were mostly in the 10 to 12 age group, or grades 5 and 6 of elementary school. Along with the 63 medals, Global Sevilla School also received the top award in the writing category and took home the championship trophy for the Global Round.
The Global Round brought together 13,600 students from 44 countries. In every competition, self-confidence is a key character trait that must be developed and trained from an early age. Global Sevilla School, which combines academic and character education, had no difficulty with this, as its students already had strong character.
The school's achievements also show that it contributes to the goals of nawacita, the national development agenda of the Indonesian government. Nawacita aims to revolutionize the nation's character through continuous character education. In this way, students can compete at the international level and keep taking part in world-class events.
In competitions like the WSC, students also get to share experiences with participants from other countries and interact with high self-confidence. Because they have received character education, they know how to celebrate success without becoming arrogant. This shows why character education matters alongside the academic education that Global Sevilla School consistently promotes.
Students can attend school almost anywhere, regardless of the school's reputation. However, for parents who want their children to excel at the international level, Global Sevilla School is the right choice.
